Gender gap in land rights and access to agricultural production in Okigwe Agricultural Zone, Imo state, Nigeria

Land is a vital resource for agricultural productivity and economic growth. Inequalities in access rights to land by male female farmers could hamper productivity. The study assessed the gender gap production Okigwe Agricultural Zone of Imo state, Nigeria. identified socio-economic characteristics area; determined farmer's land; ascertained farmers; factors influencing area. It was hypothesized that there were no significant differences farmers. Ninety-six (96) sampled, data collected using structured questionnaire. Data analyzed frequency, percentages, Ordinary Least Square Regression t-test. Results showed mean farm size 0.2842 hectares 0.1842 hectares. All had right land, while few land. result age, income education significantly affect farmers’ gaps recommended provision credits enable acquire production.
